South Carolina’s Supreme Court issued the ruling against Mark Meadows, former President Donald Trump’s White House chief of staff.
Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis is investigating Trump’s efforts to overturn the election of Democrat Joe Biden that may lead to the indictment and arrest of Trump for his attempted coup. The Court upheld an earlier ruling by a lower court judge, finding Meadow’s arguments raised on appeal “to be manifestly without merit.”
Once the investigation is complete, the district attorney decides whether to seek an indictment from a grand jury. Meadows is in Trump’s inner circle and is an important step closer to the indictment and arrest of Trump.

United States Attorney General Merrick Garland should have already subpoenaed, indicted and arrested former U.S. President Donald J. Trump, and his decision to appoint a special counsel may have been a mistake.
It is becoming evident that the failure of Merrick Garland and the Department of Justice requires a systemic overhaul of the entire Justice System before Trump does it.

DOJ Garland has prosecuted Bannon for contempt of Congress
Garland prosecuted Bannon for contempt of Congress on 7/22/22. U.S. Attorney General Merrick B. Garland prosecute every criminal contempt of Congress in order to preserve the United States of America. If Garland does not act, DOJ’s lack of decisive action will be seen as being worse than the attempt to overthrow the United States of America by Trump and his war room at the Willard Hotel immediately prior to the attack on the Capitol building of the United States.
Americans can expect an announcement from DOJ and Garland. We are beginning to wonder if Garland has any backbone. Does he care that the United States is under attack? Is there any law enforcement to protect America from being overthrown. Why is this taking so long?
Garland will be the most hated man in American if he does not act quickly and properly. Judging from the facts, a swift indictment and arrest is the only option here.
DOJ Garland has prosecuted Bannon for contempt of Congress. We must punish and hold those Trump officials accountable, or America will be taken over by authoritarian extremists. This is a civil war. We are under attack and out system of laws must be used to prosecute those attacking the United States.

7/22/22: Steve Bannon was found guilty on two counts of contempt of Congress today.
Updated on 7/18/22: The Department of Justice has indicted Steve Bannon. The trial for contempt of Congress begins today, Monday, July 18th. The Court will begin selecting jurors. Although not much will likely happen in the Court, this will be a hugely publicized event, and you never know what kind of attention-grabbing comments may be made.
7/21/22: In regard to the January 6th Committee investigation, United States Attorney General Merrick Garland says publicly that NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW. This strongly suggests that Trump will be indicted and arrested reasonably soon and that Garland will prosecute any person criminally liable for contempt of Congress.
The delay is because Merrick thinks he has to start at the bottom and work his way up. If the evidence is at the top, he could start there rather than investigate a thousand others first. He does not want to make a single mistake, yet going too slow could be a big mistake.

16 Georgia Republicans have been subpoenaed in a criminal probe into election interference fake elector scam. They will likely be indicted soon also.
A New York state judge has ordered Rudy Giuliani to testify before a Georgia grand jury investigating Donald Trump’s attempt to undermine the 2020 election. The hearing will be on August 9th. In this case Trump is also likely to be prosecuted soon.
The January 6th Committee said that the Secret Service may have violated the law for losing the texts they subpoenaed. The Secret Service said they lost them in a transfer of data.
The January 6th Committee presented an 8th hearing: The hearing was focused on former President Donald J. Trump.
The hearing opened with a damming conclusion as to Trump’s accountability for the Capitol attack by Republican Mitch McConnell, Senate minority leader.
Trump effectively tried to kill his Vice President Mike Pence for over three hours.
The January 6th Committee presented a 7th hearing.
Former Oath Keeper, Tatenhove says that we should “call things for what they are,” and that “the Oath Keepers was s a paramilitary force that President Trump was engaging. This was an armed revolution that could have been a spark that started a civil war.”
The gallows set up for Mike Pence was “only a hint,” he says, “of what could have happened. We were lucky. It could have gotten much more violent.” With concern for his children’s future he said “I fear for the world, what will happen if we do not hold these leaders accountable for their actions,” Said Van Tatenhove.
06/27/22 update: The January 6th Committee presented the sixth televised hearing and it was as compelling as the other five:
Trump’s lawyer, Rudy Giuliani had a meeting with Trump on the 4th and immediately afterwards tells White House staffer Cassidy Hutchinson, January 6th “will be great.” Meadows says “things might get real, real bad.” Hutchinson, who had supported Trump and his agenda, was disgusted by what she learned and described Trump as “indecent, vile and uncivil.”
AR-15s and Glocks — semi-automatic rifles and pistols — were reported in the crowd at the Ellipse White House visitor’s center.
Trump said, “I don’t effing care that they have weapons… Let my people in…. Take the effing mags away,” [metal detectors] according to Hutchinson.
06/21/22 update: The January 6th Committee presented a fourth televised hearing: Extremely conservative Republican Rusty Bowers, an Arizona House speaker, testifies on the pressure he received from the Trump team to overturn the election. He stands up for the election process and democracy. He asks the Trump team repeatedly for evidence of dead voters and other fake voters, and in each case no evidence is provided.
Acting on behalf of Trump, the horned QAnon leader Jacob Chansley asked Republican Bower if he would support decertification of the electors. Chansley says “just do it,” and let the courts sort it out.
06/11/22 January 6th Committee hearing response:
We do not know why U.S. Attorney General Merrick B. Garland and the DOJ has not yet prosecuted the highly illegal ongoing coup to overthrow the United States of America. But now that the whole world saw former United States Attorney General, William Barr say that Trump’s claim that the election was stolen was “Bullhsh..”, the Attorney General and the DOJ will have to prosecute. The fact that Ivanka Trump sided with Barr rather than her father shows Trump allies just how ridiculous Trump’s false claims are.
The first hearing revealed how Trump saying that former Vice President Pence deserved to die Trump’s goal was to overthrow the United States of America and imprison kill all his political enemies. Trump must be prosecuted to protect other presidents and any person Trump does not like.

4/04/22: Federal prosecutors in the Justice Department have begun investigating the fake electors scheme and the planning for the January 6th attack of the Capitol. To add more pressure as well as ability to prosecute, the missing official White House records from January 6th reveal a massive coverup.
All of this should drive the legal, moral and congressional investigation toward a subpoena, indictment, arrest and prison term for Trump, Clark, Flynn and others who were involved with the coup and Trump riot.
The refusal of Trump allies to provide more information to the January 6th Committee is a hint of the massiveness and ongoing nature of the threat to humanity. This is happening while Ukrainian children are being kidnapped by Putin and brought to Russia in what is now a global threat to democracy and out way of life.
3/11/22 UPDATE: Trump national security adviser Michael Flynn appeared before the January 6th committee today so as not to violate his legal requirement to do so in compliance with their year old subpoena, but then he said nothing by pleading the 5th.
The January 6th committee subpoenaed Flynn last year to obtain information regarding a meeting with then-President Trump in the Oval Office in which Flynn and Trump are believed to have discuss seizing voting machines, declaring a national emergency and invoking national emergency powers in a seditious conspiracy to overthrow the United States government.
3/02/22 UPDATE: The January 6th Committee has filed a motion in court documents today based on solid evidence that Trump committed “criminal conspiracy to defraud the United States” and corrupt obstruction of an official proceeding in an effort to overturn the 2020 election.
The evidence is well documented.
This is also intended to stop John Eastman from pleading the 5th. The Select Committee is telling a judge tonight that the former President Trump, John Eastman and others where engaged in crime and are therefore not eligible for a 5th amendment plea.
The time is fast approaching when Trump will be subpoenaed, indicted, arrested and sent to prison.
01/31/22 UPDATE: Over the weekend at a Trump rally in Texas former President Donald J. Trump openly confessed to seditious conspiracy (18 U.S. Code § 2384 – Seditious conspiracy) and to aiding and comforting a violent insurrection (18 U.S. Code § 2383 – Rebellion or insurrection). Trump offered pardons to the January 6th insurrectionists should he be reelected president. He was not under duress and the confession was in plain sight in public view.
Seditious conspiracy carries 20 years and rebellion or insurrection carries 10, and those convicted of rebellion or insurrection can never hold public office again.
The grand jury in Georgia will be given this information and U.S. Attorney General Merrick B. Garland will have to act on it. By clear definition, this is domestic terrorism by a former president. Trump is daring the Justice Department to indict him and is threatening that if they do indict him that he is sending his angry mob after them.
Trump admitted to sending Vice President Pence to overturn the election and when that failed to send a mob to overturn the election. In both cases he was organizing an effort to overturn the election.
I expect Trump to be indicted, arrested, taken into custody and prosecuted within the next month or DOJ Garland is not doing his job. If Trump is not indicted, arrested, prosecuted and sent to prison we are basically all doomed.
It is ludicrous that DOJ Garland has not yet prosecuted Bannon for contempt of Congress. Garland should have prosecuted Bannon, Clark, Flynn and Trump a long time ago.
Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis may be the one to take down Trump. She wrote a letter asking the FBI to protect her after Trump made his threats at his rally over the weekend.
DOJ Garland: Those at the top will be prosecuted
01/06/22 UPDATE: U.S. Attorney General Merrick B. Garland’s remarks yesterday indicate that the DOJ will hold Former President Trump and others at the top accountable for their actions tied to the Jan. 6th insurrection.
Garland said the DOJ is committed to the rule of law and to following the facts wherever they lead.
Garland vowed that the DOJ would pursue wrongdoing “at any level.” Specifically, that the DOJ would defend democratic institutions from attack and threats of violence.
So far, federal charges have been levied against over 700 of Trump’s supporters who ransacked the Capitol in a bid to stop the certification of U.S. election.

Bannon has been indicted by a federal grand jury
11/12/21 UPDATE: Steve Bannon has been indicted by a federal grand jury on two counts of contempt of Congress. He will turn himself in and appear in court on Monday. He could serve up to two years in jail. Because Trump allies are using delay tactics to stall until the 2022 election, DOJ needs to put them in jail now.
Mark Meadows may be the next Trump ally to be held in contempt. The Jan.6th Committee will likely vote to hold others in contempt of Congress next week. Jeffrey Clark and Mark Meadows may be held in contempt of Congress next week. These individuals will be more likely to cooperate with the Jan. 6th Select Committee now that Bannon has been indicted. We will soon find out.
Congress, DOJ and Garland have sent the message that if you defy Congress you will be prosecuted. This is important for defending our institutions and democracy itself.
11/9/21 UPDATE: Federal judge rules that Trump cannot keep records from the Jan. 6th Committee. Documents will likely be handed over in about a week. This may be what Attorney General Merrick Garland needed to hear to move forward to indict and arrest Steve Bannon. Things are going to speed up significantly.

Congress has access to all the information they need for their ongoing investigation into the January 6th riot and without republican or DOJ interference. The fact that this was an attempted coup is obvious.

The DOJ prosecuted Bannon and may now go after Clark, Flynn and Trump? Congress has no power if Garland and the DOJ do not enforce the law. A criminal investigation needs to be enforced to be effective. Where is Merrick Garland and the DOJ? Garland and the DOJ must prosecute Clark, Flynn and Trump.
When Congress issues a subpoena that is ignored, the person subpoenaed is in contempt of that subpoena, and it can be pursued by the Justice Department. During the Trump years the DOJ did not enforce any congressional subpoenas. That was because Bill Barr was improperly acting more like Trumps private attorney than the U.S. Attorney General.
If Merrick Garland does not act to prosecute Bannon and Trump enablers soon our country is in trouble. This is serious business. This is an attempt to overthrow a free and fair election. This must be investigated quickly. This is an urgent matter. These actors at the Willard Hotel war room are critical witnesses.
The Trump riot which was an attempted violent coup at the Capitol on January 6th is the worst crime in history.
