I discovered a treasure while cleaning up trash along a country road
At age seven I told my friend, “If you do good things, good things will happen to you,” as I pointed to a rock in an old stone wall and asked him to hand it to me. We had collected roadside trash and put it in a depression in the ground. We had been cleaning up a local road after school back in 1970, before the environmental movement even began.
I dropped the rock on the trash to conceal it (all that we knew to do at that age). With the trash buried, I turned to look at my friend. There had been a shoe box filled with old coins behind the rock I had asked for and he had the coins spread out on top of the stone wall. We filled our pockets and headed home to tell everyone we had discovered treasure! It was one of the moments you can never forget and perhaps the best day of my early childhood.

HELP CREATE A GREAT CIVILIZATION!
The reason why you can make a huge difference in the world
When I look at the global situation, I see a lot of good, but I also see children dying, climate change, divisiveness and war. I see people working and getting nowhere. The future looks grim for the billion or so people living in slums today. By the year 2050 about 4.6 billion people are expected to be living in slums. With a climate emergency we are headed for global catastrophe.
Yet the world population inadvertently argues for its limitations when they defend established ways of thinking. The most common response to me is, “why don’t you just use the power of your worldview to change the world? If your thoughts create your reality, just make a million dollars and use your money to change the world.
Well, for one, a million dollars just pays the mortgage in America, and it wouldn’t go far under certain circumstances anyway. But people who learn International Philosophy begin with the same baggage of personal and social challenges, bills, burdens, problems, etc. First they must reverse the momentum of their past creations. Then they must create and then manifest a whole new worldview which consists of thousands of beliefs.
In order to make the kind of huge changes necessary to help redirect humanity we need help.
The public resistance to new thinking is sometimes too great to surmount. Many people who have applied the principles of International Philosophy are successful high achievers, but many others have been attacked by those representing established interests, be they political, economic, educational, scientific or religious. From Socrates to the kid next door, people marginalize and in general make life difficult for those who do not seem to conform to conventional thinking and behavior.
David Bohm felt he was forced to leave the U.S., and I experienced the same kind of reaction to my own thinking (but prevailed, or you would not be reading this). When you attempt to introduce an existential, systemic change as in a polar opposite worldview, it is nearly impossible because arguments against it are based on the established paradigm. To argue for a new paradigm you have to first get people to think outside of their own established beliefs. That simply is not going to happen, especially since people are defending concepts that they have an established interest in and are addicted to.
People tend to believe what they want to believe regardless of the argument against it.
Adopting a new belief system is not always easy. Many other people that have improved their lives because of the positive thinking benefits of International Philosophy have not been able to diminish the strength of their limiting beliefs enough to make the kind of huge changes required to change public opinion. This is especially true when society considers them lazy, crazy or whatever, and when they are bombarded by verbal and nonverbal messages that are designed to remind them of and enforce conventional standards of thinking and behavior.
I am in a position to change the world because of my knowledge and the structures I have already set up. The work I have done could not be done by a fortune 500 company and I did it on my own. I did it under circumstance that most people would not survive, even with their life. I demonstrated the effectiveness of International Philosophy.
Do your know how hard it is to get a single article to rank number one on Google, never mind write 500 articles, build six websites, self-publish 25 books and create grassroots institutions or offer the blueprints for new institutions as I have done?
