The lawsuit between Dominion Voting and Fox News has ended abruptly with a $787.5 million dollar settlement. Because former president Donald Trump attacked the voting machine company, falsely claiming that it rigged the election to add votes to President Biden, the company suffered harm.

Jack Smith has subpoenaed Former Vice President Mike Pence. During the attack of the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, Trump supporters shouted “Hang Mike Pence!” Last year, Pence said “President Trump is wrong” and that “I had no right to overturn the election.” For these and other reasons Pence may be inclined to cooperate. Because this is a Department of Justice subpoena, it is my opinion that he will have to testify before a grand jury regardless of whether he cooperates or not.

South Carolina’s Supreme Court issued the ruling against Mark Meadows, former President Donald Trump’s White House chief of staff.
Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis is investigating Trump’s efforts to overturn the election of Joe Biden. The Court upheld an earlier ruling by a lower court judge, finding Meadow’s arguments raised on appeal “to be manifestly without merit.”
Once the investigation is complete, the district attorney will decide whether to seek an indictment from a grand jury. Meadows is in Trump’s inner circle and is an important step closer to the indictment and arrest of Trump.
Equal justice is engraved into the front entrance of the United States Supreme Court building in Washington D.C. It is a widely accepted ideal on which the American legal system is based. So why doesn’t this apply to Trump?

Jason Van Tatenhove, former spokesperson for the Oath Keepers says that they are a dangerous militant group who’s vision does not include the rule of law but of violence.
Tatenhove says that we should “call things for what they are,” and that “the Oath Keepers was s a paramilitary force that President Trump was engaging. This was an armed revolution that could have been a spark that started a civil war.”
The gallows set up for Mike Pence was “only a hint,” he says, “of what could have happened. We were lucky. It could have gotten much more violent.” With concern for his children’s future he said, “I fear for the world, what will happen if we do not hold these leaders accountable for their actions.”
The hearing revealed to me that this was a violent revolution that could have gotten far, far worse, and almost did, and that the danger is not over. We must hold Trump accountable and stop this kind of madness now.

Bohm and Eastwood both give us a paradigm that eliminates contradictions between science and personal human experience.
