This is the smoking gun and hard evidence from the highest level in the DOJ of a criminal conspiracy to overthrow the United States government.

The Department of Justice will likely charge Trump with 18 U.S. Code § 1510 – Obstruction of criminal investigations.
Photos were presented to the American public of top secret documents scattered on the floor in Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence. Because U.S. Attorney General Merrick B. Merrick Garland said in an interview that the DOJ is investigating everyone in the January 6th plot on all levels. That may be a good thing, but it is as dangerous to have taken this long as it is to be in a war without fighting back.

Updated on 7/21/22: In regard to the January 6th Committee investigation, United States Attorney General Merrick Garland says publicly that NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW. This strongly suggests that Trump will be indicted and arrested reasonably soon and that Garland will prosecute any person criminally liable for the attack on our Capitol.
The delay is because Merrick thinks he has to start at the bottom and work his way up. If the evidence is at the top, he could start there rather than investigate a thousand others first. He does not want to make a single mistake, yet going too slow could be a big mistake.

Trump’s lawyer, Rudy Giuliani had a meeting with Trump on the 4th and immediately afterwards tells White House staffer Cassidy Hutchinson, January 6th “will be great.” Hutchinson, who had supported Trump and his agenda, was disgusted by what she saw and heard and described Trump as “indecent, vile and uncivil.”
AR-15s and Glocks — semi-automatic rifles and pistols — were reported in the crowd at the Ellipse White House visitor’s center.
Trump said, “I don’t effing care that they have weapons… Let my people in…. Take the effing mags away,” [metal detectors] according to Hutchinson’s testimony.

The focus is on how former President Donald J. Trump targeted the Department of Justice to enable him to steal the election. Trump didn’t want the DOJ to investigate, he wanted them to say the election was stolen so that he could hold on to power.
06/21/22 update: The January 6th Committee presented a fourth televised hearing: Extremely conservative Republican Rusty Bowers, an Arizona House speaker, testifies on the pressure he received from the Trump team to overturn the election. He stands up for the election process and democracy. He asks the Trump team repeatedly for evidence of dead voters and other fake voters, and in each case no evidence is provided.
Acting on behalf of Trump, the horned QAnon leader Jacob Chansley asked Republican Bower if he would support decertification of the electors. Chansley says “just do it,” and let the courts sort it out.
06/16/22 update: The January 6th Select Committee presented a third televised hearing. In it, Vice President Pence was shown saying, “The president said I had the right to overturn the election. I did not have the right to overturn the election.” Pence goes on, “There is nothing more un-American… The vote belongs to the people… not one man,” [paraphrased].

More evidence that will get former President Donald J. Trump subpoenaed, indicted, arrested and sent to prison was well presented. The Committee illustrated that former President Donald J. Trump’s preparation to defraud Americans was evident weeks before he lost the election. Prior to the election, Trump said that if he lost the election that it would be because of election fraud.

04/29/22: On June 9th, the January 6th Committee will begin at least eight public hearings that will include tens of thousands of exhibits. The hearings will include persuasive primetime interviews that will sway the public’s mind as to what exactly happened during the Trump and Republican attempted overthrow of the United States. Because this will coincide with the 2022 midterm election, the balance of power may go to the Democrats. The intent is to preserve democracy and protect the country from another coup attempt and continued lawlessness on part of Trump and the Republicans.
Also today, a New York State Judge denied Trump’s appeal to a civil contempt order and Trump must pay $10,000 a day until he hands over the documents he says that he doesn’t have.
Because Trump is now losing both legally and financially, his confidence will decline. This will lead to more losses. Losses will continue and accelerate. Eventually, Trump will be indicted, arrested and sent to prison.

During the first January 6th Committee Hearing Trump was in effect indicted by the testimony of Capitol police officers.

Members of the January 6th Committee and the House of Representatives realize that they do not have a good track record when it comes to taking on former President Donald Trump. However, Pelosi and congressional Democrats know that Trump has lost the protections that existed while he was in office.
Trump has managed to delay or block all efforts to hold him accountable for his actions while in office. He survived two impeachment inquiries, the Mueller probe and numerous investigations into his misconduct. Trump’s obstructions of justice were effective in warding off the inevitable.
Trump’s stonewalling, however, may be coming to an end.
Because Bill Barr’s legislative branch is no longer there to protect Trump, this time around, the House may be able to go all the way.
Can Trump be arrested if he refuses to testify in the January 6th Investigation?
Yes, if Trump is subpoenaed, he can be arrested if he refuses to testify in the January 6th investigation. There will be no William Barr protecting him and as a result the House will force Trump’s compliance.
A Trump subpoena would face legal challenges by Trump and would slow down the process. Yet, Trump’s attempted January 6th coup will be made known to all and Democrats will pursue multiple subpoenas.
Ultimately, Trump will likely ignore any subpoena but will be arrested as a result. Ultimately Trump will be subpoenaed, indicted, arrested and sent to prison. This is the greatest crime ever.
